World Congress of Chiropractic Students held on Sherman campus

The 1997 World Congress of Chiropractic Students (WCCS) was on the Sherman College campus Thursday, September 18, 1997 as part of its annual Congress. The purpose of WCCS is to provide an international forum open to all students of affiliated colleges. The objectives of the Congress are to promote unity with individuality in the chiropractic profession, from within, and to unify the health care community in the interest of contributing to world health, well being and the exchange of ideas from a student level.

Students from 17 chiropractic colleges around the world visited the campus enjoying a Chiropractic Discovery Day celebration and hearing speakers such as Dr. Thom Gelardi, founder of Sherman College, and Dr. David Koch, president of Sherman College. The week long Congress sessions took place at the Embassy Suites Hotel on Verdae Boulevard in Greenville.
